I bought a pair of these at the Iowa City Farmer's Market at least 12 years ago, loved them and wore them A LOT, and they finally recently developed holes. So I ordered 3 pairs for me, and 2 pairs for my husband 2 months ago. They are still comfy and wonderful, but I can tell they are not going to hold up nearly as well. It makes me sad.

These are the best! I wear them year round all day as a welder. They don’t quite hold up as well as other non alpaca socks but they are remarkably comfortable… I get about a calendar year out of them and rotate 3 pairs a week..
I am allergic to sheeps wool, but alpaca does not bother me at all. I have tried other alpaca socks before I discovered Peruvian Link and they did not wear well, they wore out quickly. These are perfect. They are all I wear with my boots for hiking and for rugged trail work on the Appalachian Trail here in Georgia.
